Student Honor Code
Effective Date: April 13, 2026 | The Training Institute (TTI)
Preamble
The Training Institute (TTI) is committed to fostering a culture of integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect across all of its educational programs. This Student Honor Code establishes the ethical standards and expectations that every learner agrees to uphold as a condition of enrollment and continued participation in TTI courses, certifications, and related activities.
By enrolling in any TTI program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the principles and provisions set forth in this Honor Code.
1. Academic Integrity
1.1 Original Work
All assignments, assessments, projects, and examinations must reflect your own original effort unless explicitly designated as collaborative work by the instructor. You must not submit work that has been completed, in whole or in part, by another individual, artificial intelligence tool, or automated system unless the course materials expressly permit such use.
1.2 Prohibition of Cheating
Cheating includes, but is not limited to: using unauthorized materials or devices during assessments; copying answers from another learner; obtaining or distributing test questions or answers prior to an examination; and having another person complete coursework on your behalf.
1.3 Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the presentation of another person’s ideas, words, research, or creative work as your own without proper attribution. This includes direct copying, paraphrasing without citation, and self-plagiarism (resubmitting your own prior work for new credit without instructor approval).
1.4 Fabrication and Falsification
You must not fabricate data, citations, or research results. Falsifying records, including but not limited to transcripts, certificates of completion, or attendance records, is strictly prohibited.
2. Professional Conduct
2.1 Respectful Communication
All interactions with instructors, fellow students, and TTI staff—whether in discussion forums, live sessions, email, or any other communication channel—must be conducted with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated.
2.2 Collaborative Integrity
When group work is assigned, every member of the group is expected to contribute meaningfully and equitably. Submitting group work to which you did not substantively contribute, or allowing others to claim credit for your individual contributions, violates this Honor Code.
2.3 Responsible Use of Platform Resources
You agree to use TTI’s learning management system, course materials, and digital resources solely for their intended educational purposes. Any attempt to disrupt platform services, exploit system vulnerabilities, or access restricted content or accounts without authorization is prohibited.
3. Assessment and Certification Integrity
3.1 Examination Conduct
During proctored or timed assessments, you must comply with all stated rules and conditions. Unless expressly permitted, you may not access external resources, communicate with other individuals, or use screen-sharing or recording tools during an examination.
3.2 Certification Authenticity
Certificates, badges, and credentials issued by TTI represent verified completion of coursework. You must not alter, forge, or misrepresent any TTI-issued credential. Sharing login credentials to allow another individual to complete coursework or assessments on your behalf is a violation of this Code.
4. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
4.1 Course Material Protection
All TTI course content—including videos, documents, SCORM packages, quizzes, and supplementary materials—is the intellectual property of TTI or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, upload, sell, or publicly share any course materials without prior written authorization.
4.2 Confidentiality of Assessments
Examination questions, quiz content, and assessment methodologies are confidential. Sharing, posting, or discussing specific assessment content in public forums, social media, or with other learners who have not yet completed the assessment is prohibited.
5. Reporting Obligations
Students who become aware of Honor Code violations by others are encouraged to report such conduct to TTI administration at [email protected]. Reports may be made confidentially. TTI prohibits retaliation against any individual who makes a good-faith report of a suspected violation.
6. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this Honor Code may result in one or more of the following actions, at TTI’s sole discretion:
- A formal written warning
- A grade of zero on the affected assignment or assessment
- Revocation of a certificate or credential
- Suspension or permanent removal from TTI courses and platform access
- Notation on your learner record
TTI reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and to take appropriate action based on the severity and circumstances of each case. Students will be afforded an opportunity to respond to allegations before final disciplinary action is taken.
7. Amendments
TTI reserves the right to update or amend this Student Honor Code at any time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students via email or platform notification. Continued enrollment and use of TTI services following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Honor Code.
