Course Overview

Basic Hoist and Crane Safety provides participants with foundational knowledge of safe hoisting and crane operations. The course focuses on hazard recognition, operator and worker responsibilities, equipment inspection, load handling principles, communication methods, and applicable regulatory requirements. The training is designed to improve workplace safety and promote safe lifting practices in industrial, construction, manufacturing, and maintenance environments.

Criteria for Earning IACET

To receive 0.15 IACET CEU, participants must:

• Complete all required course modules

• Achieving a minimum passing score of 80% on course assessments
• Complete the course evaluation
