Course Overview

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize, evaluate, and control electrical hazards in the workplace. The training focuses on electrocution prevention principles, electrical safety regulations, hazard identification, safe work practices, personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout procedures, and emergency response requirements.

Participants will learn how to reduce the risk of electrical injuries and fatalities by applying industry-recognized safe work practices when working on or around energized equipment and electrical systems.

Criteria for Earning IACET

To receive 0.1 IACET CEU, participants must:
