What Will I Learn?
Electrocution prevention teaches you to recognize electrical hazards, understand how electricity causes harm, and implement strict safety protocols. Key topics include foundational science, hazard recognition, and procedural controls to keep you safe on the job.
Target Audience
Electrocution prevention should target three main groups based on their level of exposure: Qualified Workers who actively service live equipment, Unqualified Workers (e.g., painters, laborers) who need basic hazard awareness, and Safety Managers who enforce compliance with OSHA Electrical Standards.
Materials Included
Electrocution prevention is a structured program designed to educate workers on recognizing, avoiding, and mitigating electrical hazards. Its goal is to prevent severe injuries and fatalities by promoting safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and hazard awareness. The training is typically divided into comprehensive trade courses (like those for certified electricians) and awareness-level sessions (for non-electrical workers).
