Course Details
Warehouse Safety is a self-paced online course that helps warehouse workers identify workplace hazards and apply safe work practices throughout everyday operations. Delivered entirely online through the TTI learning management system, the training lets participants work at their own pace within their enrollment period. The course strengthens hazard recognition and injury prevention while covering common warehouse risks, safe material handling, and proper manual lifting techniques. Learners build awareness of powered industrial trucks and forklifts, pedestrian safety, and warehouse traffic management to keep people and equipment safely apart. Additional lessons address storage and stacking practices, housekeeping, ergonomics, and proven methods for preventing slips, trips, and falls. The program also reviews emergency response procedures, reporting requirements, and the employer and employee responsibilities that support a strong safety culture.
This 5-contact-hour course is designed for warehouse associates, shipping and receiving personnel, material handlers, supervisors, and new employees assigned to warehouse operations, and no prior experience is required. Progress is tracked automatically in the LMS, and participants complete all modules and pass the required assessments to finish. Learners who successfully complete the training earn a certificate of completion and 0.50 IACET CEU. Course Overview
Warehouse Safety provides participants with the knowledge and awareness necessary to identify workplace hazards, apply safe work practices, and contribute to a safe warehouse environment. The course covers common warehouse risks, material handling, equipment safety, housekeeping, ergonomics, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Course Description
This course introduces learners to essential warehouse safety principles and best practices. Participants will gain an understanding of hazard recognition, injury prevention, safe material handling techniques, powered industrial truck awareness, pedestrian safety, storage practices, and emergency response procedures. The training is designed to promote a culture of safety and reduce workplace incidents.
