Meet Your Instructor

Mike Hancock, P.E. NETA IV

Mike Hancock has worked within the Electrical Power industry since 1992. As such, he has held numerous positions with various companies: Senior Field Engineer, Area Supervisor, Executive Project Manager, PDS Global & National Accounts Manager, Corporate Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Owner. His diverse experience, both educationally and professionally, has created a desire to give back to those that want to learn these skills.

 

As a NETA IV Technician, he has countless experiences in the NETA Testing world. He also served for several years on the NETA’s board for drafting exams questions. He has experience leading field-testing teams with direct experience with testing: transformers of all sizes up to and including 345kV GSU’s, CT’s, PT’s, OCB’s, GCB’s, voltage regulators, LV, MV and HV breakers, Ground systems, rotating machines, synchronous systems, generators, batteries, capacitor banks, cable testing, fault locating and troubleshooting components and systems.

 

In addition, he has vast experience in the engineering field and currently holds licenses in many states.
