Course Overview

Pipeline Construction 101 provides an introduction to the planning, construction, inspection, and safety practices associated with pipeline projects. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of pipeline construction processes, equipment, materials, industry terminology, regulatory considerations, and field operations.

Course Description

This course is designed to familiarize participants with the complete pipeline construction lifecycle, from project planning through commissioning. Topics include right-of-way preparation, trenching, pipe handling, welding, coating, lowering-in, backfilling, testing, environmental considerations, and safety requirements.

No prior pipeline construction experience is required. Participants should possess:

Criteria for Earning IACET
